Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Instructor Course, VNA Training, and Diverse Onsite & Centre-Based Courses
As another productive week wraps up at 4KS Forklift Training, here’s a look at the training highlights from our Birmingham and Peterborough centres and our busy onsite programs:
RTITB Instructor Course Concludes
We successfully concluded our 10-day RTITB Instructor Course at the Birmingham centre. Congratulations to the newly certified instructors who passed this challenging yet rewarding program. Your success marks the beginning of a meaningful journey in forklift training!
Personal thanks to Tony, our senior instructor who once again was pivotal in supporting and leading this course for them. Thank you also to the RTITB Examiner, Darren for your time.
Centre-Based Training in Birmingham
The Birmingham centre was fully booked with diverse training sessions catering to various skill levels:
- Reach Truck Focus: A popular choice among our candidates last week.
- Counterbalance Courses: We had both Novice and Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses, ensuring tailored training for every skill level.
- Bendi Course: A dedicated weekend session helped candidates refine their skills on this versatile truck.
Additionally, 7 candidates from Momentum Training joined us to further their training and boost their employability. We’re very proud to say that all 7 candidates achieved their RTITB Accredited Counterbalance and Reach truck certificates. We have another batch starting next week!
Busy Onsite Training Programs
Our instructors were fully engaged with multiple onsite training sessions for a range of clients:
- VNA Training: The 7th week of our extended 8-week VNA program continued with the automotive distributor, honing operator skills to work efficiently in high-reach and narrow-aisle tasks.
- Counterbalance Conversion: Nautilus called us back for three Counterbalance conversion courses to upskill their team.
- CB Novice Course: Delivered for a global provider of innovative supply chain solutions, enhancing their workforce’s forklift operation skills.
- Scissor Lift MEWP Training: Conducted for the world’s largest producer of adhesives and chemicals for the construction industry, along with onsite Bendi conversion training at their Burnley site.
- CB Experience with Attachments: A specialised Counterbalance experience course for a carpet wholesaler, focusing on boom attachment used for lifting carpet rolls.
Action-Packed Week in Peterborough
The Peterborough centre saw a high level of activity, reflecting its role as a key forklift training hub:
Net UK Candidates: We were pleased to host candidates referred by Net UK, a back-to-employment scheme focused on helping individuals gain skills and qualifications to re-enter the workforce. These candidates successfully completed their Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses, earning certificates to enhance their job prospects. It’s always rewarding to see training directly contribute to rebuilding careers and opening new opportunities.
Weekend Training: To accommodate those with busy weekday schedules, our weekend sessions were packed with candidates completing their Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses. The dedication of these trainees speaks volumes about their commitment to advancing their skills and career potential.
Celebrating Success
We’re thrilled to see so many candidates gaining valuable skills that enhance their careers. A huge shoutout to our incredible instructors for going above and beyond to ensure every candidate succeeds.
