Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Full Capacity Training as We Approach 2025

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re thrilled to share another eventful week packed with training achievements across our Birmingham and Peterborough centres and onsite programs. With full-capacity sessions and candidates from diverse backgrounds, we’re wrapping up the year stronger than ever—though we’re staying open through the holiday period to continue supporting your training needs!

Birmingham Highlights

The Birmingham training centre saw a vibrant mix of candidates and training programs last week:

• Restart Scheme Success:
  Another group of 10 candidates from Momentum Training, this time from Coventry and Birmingham, completed their RTITB-accredited Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses. To make things easier for the Coventry batch, we provided pick-and-drop services, ensuring a seamless training experience. Congratulations to all candidates for earning their certificates and stepping into the job market with confidence!
• Reed in Partnership Candidate:
  A big congratulations to Kieran, who joined us for his Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course. Sent to us by Chloe McKay at Reed in Partnership, Kieran successfully completed his training and is ready for new opportunities.
• Private Candidates:
  Our Bendi Conversion and Counterbalance courses were also in full swing, catering to individual candidates aiming to refine their skills and boost employability.

Onsite Training Successes

Our onsite programs continued to deliver high-quality training tailored to meet client needs:

• VNA Training Program Concluded:
  We wrapped up the final week of our extended VNA training program with an automotive distributor. The client expressed satisfaction with the results and Olly, our instructor, received glowing feedback. Keep an eye out for a video showcasing this successful program!
• Bendi Conversion Training:
  The world’s largest adhesives and construction chemicals producer hosted us for Bendi Conversion training throughout the week.
• Forklift Attachments:
  At a carpet wholesaler, we conducted Forks Attachment and Reach Truck conversion training, helping their team adapt to specific operational needs.
• Counterbalance Novice Training:
  We provided Counterbalance Novice training for a global supply chain innovator, enhancing their workforce’s efficiency and safety.

Peterborough Highlights

The Peterborough training centre was abuzz with activity as well:

• Counterbalance Training:
  Among our candidates were two brothers, Marcus and Aston Martin (yes, that’s his real name!). Both successfully completed their Counterbalance course and earned their RTITB certificates.
