At 4KS Forklift Training, we had an incredible week filled with success stories and notable training achievements. Both our Birmingham and Peterborough centres were bustling with activity, and we are thrilled to share the highlights.
One of the most exciting aspects of this week’s training was the diversity in our group of trainees. A batch of 14 candidates from Birmingham and Coventry successfully completed their Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses. Notably, this group included several female trainees, marking a positive step toward a more inclusive workforce in the material handling industry.
At 4KS Forklift Training, we believe it is crucial to encourage more women to enter the sector, and it was inspiring to see their dedication and skill throughout the course. These women are now fully certified and ready to take on roles in the logistics and warehouse industry, showcasing that forklift operation is a career path for everyone.
Another highlight this week was the training conducted on our Bendi trucks, a unique offering at our Birmingham forklift training centre. Bendi or Pivot-steer trucks are essential for navigating narrow aisles and tight spaces in warehouses, and not many training centres offer this type of specialist training. We pride ourselves on having this capability, and our Bendi truck refresher course this weekend was fully booked with trainees eager to enhance their skills.
With our experienced instructors and fully equipped facilities, we’re able to deliver high-quality, hands-on Bendi training that sets us apart from other providers.
In addition to the Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses, we saw several candidates successfully complete their Counterbalance Experience and Refresher courses. It’s always rewarding to see individuals improve and refine their skills through these essential courses.
Peterborough also saw a busy week of training with diverse courses for both companies and private candidates:
Meanwhile, at our Peterborough training centre, a candidate from the Reed in Partnership Restart Scheme passed both his Counterbalance Experience and Reach Truck Conversion courses with flying colours. This success has motivated him to continue his training, and he’s already eager to take on the PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) course. Here’s what he had to say:

We also received wonderful feedback about our instructor, Olly, whose commitment to high-quality training left such a positive impression on the largest private thermal processing and surface engineered coatings company in the UK, that they’ve requested him to train an additional 12 candidates next month! We’re grateful for Olly’s dedication and the impact he’s making at 4KS Forklift Training.
We would like to book another 4 courses at your Peterborough Training Centre (4 different weekdays – each for 3 people). In the morning, in the next month or so, would be ideal. If Olly is available then that would be great.
